The last three digits of the reference number indicate the size of the grating. Select these digits from the Size Table that appears just after the following table and replace the X's in the latter table with the digits. Typically the usable efficiency range of a ruled grating can be approximately calculated as 2/3 x optimal wavelength to 2 x optimal wavelength.
