Optical Configuration
The DH-10 is built around
two aberration-corrected concave holographic gratings which are
mechanically coupled. This type of grating does not require
collimated light. Light collection, diffraction and imaging are all
accomplished by the concave aberration-corrected gratings alone.
These are the only optical components of the instrument, there are no
mirrors, thus you get maximum throughput. |
