The H10 Monochromator
is
a small, versatile instrument and has several applications. You can
use it as follows:
-
As a Variable Filter the
H10 is very useful in applications for selecting a range of
wavelengths from a continuous source. With its metal drop-in slits,
it can be used with focused arc lamps up to 1Kw.
-
Low resolution absorption
transmission and fluorescence applications
The H10 features HIGH
SPECTRAL PURITY. High stray light level rejection of 10-5
at 8 nm from the 632.8 nm laser line.
We offer a wide range of
accessories for optical configurations including light sources,
detectors, optical benches, motors, recorders and computer interfaces.
Features of the H10 Compact Monochromator
Small size: just 10 cm3
Featherweight: 1Kg
In spite of its small
size, the H10 monochromator offers performance equal to that of
bulkier instruments. |
Optical Configuration
The H10 is built around an
aberration-corrected concave holographic diffraction grating. This
element plays a triple role: collimator, dispersing and focusing system. |
|
Resolution
Typically 1 nm at 500 nm |
|
High Luminosity
This is assured by its
f/3.5 aperture |
|
Slits
Manually interchangeable
fixed width slits, with continuous height adjustment. Custom
OEM version available.
For applications where
resolution is required optional fixed slits are available. Each slit
is equipped with a height limiter. Maximum height: 8 mm, minimum
height: 2 mm. |
