The LabRam Analytical Raman Microscope
|
The LabRam is a new
generation of Raman microscope and is the instrument of choice for
Fast Analytical Raman spectroscopy. The LabRam is a fully integrated,
turnkey system designed to fulfill your Raman needs, whatever your
application. Typical examples include semiconductor devices /
electronics, chemicals / petrochemicals, biomedical products,
pharmaceuticals, forensics, environmental samples, polymers,
materials and thin films etc... |
 |
|
Rugged Design |
|
The LabRam has been
designed around a very rugged internal optical bench construction.
The integral laser and microscope are mounted directly on to a robust
chassis and hence, make the system extremely stable.
|
Confocal Microscope |
|
A continuously adjustable
confocal aperture is located in the object plane of the microscope.
Based around the highly acclaimed Olympus BX, the confocal microscope
extends the well-known potential of confocal microscopy to Raman
micro probing and enables an unequalled performance in spatial and
axial resolution.
|
High Throughput |
|
High throughput and high
sensitivity stigmatic spectrograph. The single stage spectrometer
takes advantage of the state of the art high sensitivity CCD
detection system and laser notch filter technology. This makes the
LabRam a very Fast Analytical instrument.
|
Dual Grating Shaft |
|
The two gratings mounted
on a translating shaft provides the user the choice of a complete
spectral coverage, eg 200- 4000 cm-1
in one shot with a low groove density grating, or a high
spectral resolution (better than 1 cm-1/
pixel) when using the higher resolution grating. Alternatively, it
will allow you to maximise sensitivity at different excitation laser
lines by selecting specifically blaze optimised gratings.
|
Multiple Lasers |
|
Multiple lasers can be
simultaneously mounted on the LabRam system. This allows for an easy
switch of laser excitation wavelength.
|
Line Scan Imaging |
|
Line scan imaging allows
you to take full advantage of a two dimensional CCD detection system.
A computer-controlled optical scanner deflects the focused laser beam
as a line on the sample plane. This line is subsequently projected
onto the entrance slit of the spectrometer and then imaged onto the
CCD. This feature provides simultaneous acquisition of Raman signals
from each point of the sample illuminated by the laser scanned line.
|
Optical Probe |
|
High efficiency fibre
optic probe. The LabRam is equipped with an additional entrance for
optical fibres. This provides the capability for On Line measurements
via any of our high efficiency remote probes.
|
Windows Software |
|
Spectroscopy WindowsTM
based software. The spectroscopy/imaging software is designed and
written by spectroscopists... putting both power and ease-of-use at
your finger tips.
|
ND Filter Wheel |
|
The software controlled
Neutral Density filter wheel allows you to adjust the laser power as needed.
|
Microscope Enclosure |
|
Optional microscope
enclosure provides the highest level of protection from laser exposure.
|
Macro/Micro Accessories |
|
Wide array of Micro/Macro accessories.
|
|
|
The LabRam is the
ultimate tool for Fast Analytical Raman.
