New Extended Range of Holographic Gratings available from Jobin Yvon
Jobin Yvon has extended the range of Flat Field and Imaging Concave Gratings for Spectrographs to work with CCDs and other array detectors. The advantage of these holographic gratings is that highly efficient spectrographic systems can be produced using only one optical component - the grating. Alignment of the system is simplified and the complete instrument is made to be extremely robust. Since a replication process is used, the quality and reproduction of the gratings are assured and hence the performance of the optical system is consistent and optimum.
