Dual
Raman Macro Chamber
A
new Flexible sampling device has been Introduced for the LabRam
Infinity range of Raman systems. The Dual Macro Chamber offers a
complimentary sampling facility to the standard microscope.
The
Dual Macro Chamber enables routine measurements of liquid samples
and large dimension objects to be made easily and quickly. It can be
added simultaneously to the microscope system and can be selected at
the touch of a button.
The
Macro chamber consists of two compartments: The first compartment
includes a high efficiency multi-pass cuvette cell holder which is
ideal for standard cuvette sampling and for analysis of material
within capillary and NMR
tubes. The special Multi-pass arrangement enables sensitivity to be
increased by up to three times over standard macro samplers. The
second compartment includes a small XYZ
micrometer stage for precise sample positioning. It is designed to
hold larger dimension samples not easily accessed through a vertical microscope.
The
Dual Macro Chamber is removable when not in use for extended
periods, and requires no optical adjustment when the chamber is
replaced due to its rugged optical construction.
