A xenon flash lamp and attendant electronics are added to the standard steady-state illuminator. As a result, phosphorescence data, as well as rejection of fluorescence interference, are now both possible. The FluoroMax®-P is fully controlled by the Jobin Yvon DataMax™ software, which can perform steady-state excitation, emission, time base and synchronous scans as well as Phosphorescence lifetime.
