The MicroMax 384 is a microwell-plate reader able to accept plates with up to 384 wells, and connect to a SPEX FluoroMax® or FluoroLog® spectrofluorometer from Jobin Yvon.

By moving the microwell plate through stationary optics the MicroMax 384's high speed allows you to scan a 96-microwell plate in less than one minute and also ensures high sensitivity, excellent accuracy and high reproducibility.

Light from the excitation and emission monochromators of the spectrofluorometer is carried via a fibre-optic bundle to and from the MicroMax 384. The user may utilise any of the standard spectrofluorometer scanning functions or select any excitation and emission wavelength pair for intensity measurements.

Full control of the MicroMax 384 is automated through DataMax™ software allowing for intuitive experiment design and visual display of plate reader experiments. The benefit of using the MicroMax 384, is that you can collect more data in less time and with less effort.
