Jobin
Yvon, Optical Spectroscopy Division, introduces its Symphony line of
CCD array detection systems. These detectors have been designed for
extremely low signal level detection, or ultra high-speed
acquisitions required in time domain spectroscopy.
Compatible with all
high-quality, scientific grade CCD chip formats, the Symphony
detector is an indispensable tool for current and future
spectroscopic applications.
Features include a 16 Bit
ADC with 20 kHz to 1 MHz readout rates including an ADC upgrade
capability, onboard memory data storage and software-selectable gain.
Cooling is by high performance Thermo-electric (TE) or Liquid
Nitrogen (LN2). The CCD chip temperature is software controlled,
allowing for maximisation of quantum efficiency and signal-to-noise
ratio. Use of a Fast Ethernet Network Interface provides 100% data
integrity, ensuring against transmission errors.
