The Jobin Yvon Raman Division, winners of the 2002 Pittcon Gold Award
for the LabRam-IR - the Combined Raman/FT-IR microscope, are proud to
announce the introduction of the World's first Portable Raman Imaging
System - PRISmTM. The combination of a proprietary On-Axis
spectrograph with a coherent fibre bundle based Raman Probe allows
for high quality, high spectral resolution Raman imaging in a compact
package. The PRISmTM technology provides for fast
hyper-spectral imaging which is ideal for In-Vivo Raman Imaging for
medical imaging applications (e.g. surgery, dermatology etc.) and
other demanding applications including High Throughput Screening
(HTS). The PRISm technology can also be used in Process Raman
applications to monitor a large number of reaction control points simultaneously.
