Name Change
Instruments
SA is now Jobin Yvon/Horiba.
Instruments
SA, a multinational corporation supplying instruments to the
scientific community, has announced that it will now be officially
known as Jobin Yvon/Horiba. Instruments SA, whose company roots
extend back 180 years, has supplied the highest quality ICPs,
spectrofluorometers, Raman, and other spectroscopic instruments by
acquiring corporations and using the brand names of Jobin Yvon, JY,
SPEX, Dilor, Sofie, and ISA. Now, all these instruments will be
supplied under the unified Jobin Yvon/Horiba banner. Easier and
faster customer recognition is the prime motivation behind the name change.
Jobin
Yvon joined the Horiba group in 1998. Jobin Yvon has offices in the
US, Germany, Italy, UK, and France. All these offices will, of
course, share in the name change.
